Google Mapquest Driving Directions

I've been on the road all my life, in fact I was born in a truck! I wish Google Mapquest driving directions had existed back then, maybe with that kind of technology around my daddy the trucker and my mom would have been able to arrive to the hospital on time. Being born on a truck is probably the reason why I love trucking so much, I have my own trucking company and I definitely love the trucking business, every now and then I like to cross states in one of those bad boys. In my trucking business I have used every type of routing and mapping technology that you could think of in order to make my drivers and my company more efficient, I've used advanced GPS technology, Rand McNally road maps with the best tuck driving routes, mapblast (now known as Bing Maps), Mapquest, and Google Maps. For commercial trucking Rand McNally probably offers the best tools and solutions, as everything else in life there's a price to be paid, but as you probably already know sometimes good things are worth money.

However I like driving cars a lot more than driving trucks, I like fast, small cars, it's probably because I've been haging out in really big slow vehicles all my life, that's why my favorite mapping and routing services are still Google Maps and Mapquest. Usually I drive for fun, I like to put my favorite songs or my favorite radio stations on my cars radio and then I drive for hours, for me that's like meditating, that's when I get the best ideas and when I find the solution to most if not all my problems.

I have to drive through easy routes that don't have traffic in order to achieve this zen type state of mind that I'm talking about, traffic screws up my relaxation and also my positive attitude, what can I say? I'm a rider and I must ride! Traffic can be caused by accidents, too many cars passing through the same routes, closed roads, roads under construction, and other incidents, the cool thing about using Google Mapquest for driving directions is that I am able to access very useful information and tools, the type of information and tools that allow me to avoid unpleasant situations while driving, a good example would be live traffic reports and alternate routes.
